KUTCH No. 21 — Niam (Black/Camo)
A return. Quiet. Complete.
A reworked army jacket with layered tonal camouflage and geometric patterning. Naturally dyed in black and finished with mirror embroidery by Rabari women artisans.
Made from memory. Worn with intention.
Built on a vintage army jacket, this piece carries a sense of closure and clarity. The surface is grounded in deep tones, with pattern emerging subtly through the fabric rather than sitting on top of it.
Mirror embroidery is placed with restraint, allowing the form and texture to lead.
The black is developed through a natural process using recycled iron and raw sugar, left to rest and transform over time.
The exact method remains in the hands of the artisans.
A return to what matters.
